BruceEsplin Pty Ltd undertakes complex reviews and enquiries on organisational structure and performance.

During his time as Victorian Emergency Services Commissioner, Bruce Esplin led a large number of complex and sensitive enquiries into the performance of Victoria’s emergency services and emergency management arrangements. While some remain confidential for obvious security reasons, others have been publicly released. These included:

2003 Victorian Bushfire Inquiry;

A Report of the Response to an Emergency at Melbourne Airport on 21 February 2005;

A Report of Fire Service Delivery in the Latrobe Valley, August 2005;

Westpoint Chemical Fire Report to the Community, March 2008;

Review of the April Windstorm, Melbourne, Victoria, August 2008;

Public Emergency Notification System, September 2008; and

Marine Emergency Framework Review, September 2008.

BruceEsplin Pty Ltd has worked with organisations in the outdoor sector and the Department of Sport and Recreation in Victoria to review organisational arrangements  for the sector, and then to guide the implementation of the recommendations made including the establishment of a new peak body for the sector.
